So I bought a used version of the mth tinplate girl's set, and it came with more surprises than I bargained for.
The rolling stock has the slide shoe uncoupler mechanism. Now normally I zip tie these things up to reduce drag. Unfortunately the previous owner somehow removed many of the shoes. So at the moment there is lots of drag and no ready made way to alleviate it. Anybody else run into this before? I am looking for any cost effective way to improve how these cars roll. I did not find the removed shoes in any of the boxes.
