Has anyone visited the Truckee Railroad Museum (on Donner Pass Rd. Truckee, CA) and if so what was your impression?
Unfortunately when we were there, they were closed.

I haven't seen that yet, but will add it to my "to do" list.
Reminds me of several years ago. I drove to the Amtrak depot in Salinas, Ca. especially to measure the SP caboose they have on static display. There was a lady there, who told me they were closed and she wouldn't let me in. I got what I could through the fence.
I felt like the Griswold family at Wally World....
