I installed a Williams True Blast sound card in a K-Line steamer. I tested the card on track power before installing it and all was fine. Once installed, it works, but the sound is muffled to only a fraction of the volume. I checked the power connections and they're good. Is there something I could have done wrong? I'm afraid I may have fried the board.

There is an adjustable volume control on the circuit board.  It's a little silver thing that sticks up near one corner and has a flat hole through it.  Put a small flathead screwdriver into it and you can adjust the volume.

If that doesnt' work, then do you have any holes in the frame/shell for the sound to come through?

Thanks so much for your answers. I did have a speaker/baffle combo that I installed today, and I found the volume adjustment and cranked it up. It's working well now, but I'm coming to the conclusion that this loco deserves an ElectricRR sound card. It's a conventional, but runs amazingly well at slow speed. Anyone have thoughts on the ElectricRR sound card running in conventional mode?
