My club, Greater Toronto Toy Trains (GT3) http://www.gt3trains.com displayed our collections last weekend at the Doors Open event, Toronto Roundhouse Museum.

The 2 day event was fantastic. It is such a great site..featuring the John St. Roundhouse, steam and diesel locomotives, switch towers, a live steam ride-on minitrain etc etc etc,  all surrounded by the Blue Jay's stadium Rogers Centre, and the CN tower.

today I found a beat up copper nosed Marx Mercury w/ 4 grey streamline passenger cars for $55. So I'm happy with that. Tomorrow we have our last show of the season at a toy collectables show in Ancaster, Ont, that will be fun..with a lot of different things for sale.

Sorry for the delay and thanks for your replies. Jay Jay. the Toronto TTC PCC streetcar is a Corgi with GHB power trucks. I went with GHB trucks because they look good, and are very easy to install. No disassembly of the Corgi body required.

I would have liked to add interior lighting and a driver w a few passengers to the street car.. but at this time.. that's beyond my skillset. I just dont know how to remove the base from the top.. add the people, then re-attach the base, even after reseaching on the net.

The streetcar gets a lot of attention and good comments.

Update - the toys and trains show in Ancaster, Ontario was really cool. http://www.collectorshows.ca/EN/home.php

There was lots of O gauge for sale, prices were low and I saw many happy people walking around with their new treasures.

The crowd was good, and enjoyed our display. The reaction of the kids and adults made our day and we enjoyed giving out diamonds from the tunnel to the young ones.. something they will remember forever. We didn't take a lot of film, but will have another short video up in the next few weeks.

In the meantime, we are editing a longer video from the Steam Whistle show, for those with longer attention spans ;-) , and enjoy watching the trains run.
