i have the old turnouts and i do not remember how to wire them and do they need the insulated pins and what location for the pins? thank you, steve

The inner rail (inside traveling rail) one one the inside and the same on the main have to have an insulated pin. The three wires are not hard and depending on the controller can be installed wrong with no damage. The switch will only trip in one direction then just change the wires around.
