GE passenger locomotives with C-C trucks and based on freight units had issues on ATSF and Amtrak. But it seems the U34CH in commuter service did not have tracking issues? What did this locomotive have the others did not?

It didn't have to operate at speeds above 80 MPH.
The NJT U34CHs often 'worked weekends' for early Conrail.
I have read that the engines would be returned to NJT as early as Monday morning, just before the morning commute.
Speaking of freight pax locos, how are the b32-8 doing on Amtrak? Are they all over or based out of one terminal. I miss the Pepsi paint schemes on those locos.
The U34CH was the maintay for over twenty years on NJT. You could hear them coming a mile with that distinct chugging exhaust. I miss them.

I think the SUNSET also got the "Pooches".
