To the knowledge people

I have started to change all my SD40-2 to fixed pilots. I have six of them. While I have them apart other than lubrication what preventive measures should I do? TVS install? what type and size or value? how? How about speakers? What about the wires to the no longer needed electric couplers? Right now they all run good.

Clem, I would unplug the 2 pin on the coupler wires. You don't want any exposed wire ends. Otherwise general lubrication and basic inspection of wires. G
