I have the Union Pacific 1253 2.0 sound when I hit bell once then whistle 2x it begins talking, I feel like it’s not saying everything it has in the past, I feel like in the beginning they say theirs the switch man he’s waiving us in. Is there anyway for me to find this out for sure. Thanks

Step 1 properly identify the loco when asking a technical question. We need the product number ideally. Roadname and cab number are not always enough info. A search using MTH website came up with this https://mthtrains.com/30-4210-1

So- ideally, one would download and read the manual

Are you following all steps of the FYS PSA sequence pressing the direction button after waiting for each segment to complete?

Yeah I am doing all that and when I hit the direction but it is cycling through like it should but I feel like it’s not saying the first sequence but I could be wrong I may be thinking of my old engine I had. I’m trying to see if anyone knows what the first sequence actually says on it. I’ve been looking for videos but can’t find any.

Well, the MTH website also had an MP3 version of the sound file that plays all clips, or you can always use the free open source ADPCM program to playback a downloaded copy of the sound file.
