Some happy snaps taken this morning of a steam loco swarmed by idiots who couldn't keep off the tracks...

Mitch, Thanks for the good pictures. Was it on time?? Congratulations to the crowd for maintaining the requested 25 feet of distance from the tracks at all times. Pat B.

This is Oklahoma, they had cowboys with ropes to drag the one off of the track that would not get off, that way the police did not have to shot them off the tracks.
Thanks for sharing, Mitch. Great photos, but that last video was incredible.
P.S. why weren’t you wearing your Grand PoohBah hat???
Keith, Who had the marshall duty today: John Wayne, Gary Cooper, Randolph Scott.....? That should make a good movie, ""High Noon in Pryor" produced by Mitch Marmel starring Big Boy 4014 with a supporting role by Ed Dickens and a cast of thousands. Caden and Keith as Production Assistants.

It was TOO HOT for the old marshall's.
It was so hot that people were trying to get on top of 4014's boiler so to cool off their feet.

I guess you’ll have to get the summer weight straw hat
Mitch,
Just saw mention of this in the email from the railcowgirl group.
Lucky guy, I still haven't seen 4014 in steam. Had it not been for COVID, that would have come my way last year...
The man in Mitch's first picture is my son (next to gray pickup). He saw the 4014 last year at Pryor, so he knew where it would stop and he was able to get a good spot for us. It was a great day and all were having fun.
