I have just ordered a MTH Railking UP FEF in two-toned grey with white lining and have been trying to view pictures and videos of how the older models and the real engine looks. So far all I have seen are either black and white photos of it or pictures/videos of the two-toned grey with yellow lining. Does any one have a video or color pictures of the two-toned grey w/ white lining scheme that union pacific used? Anything would be hepful.

The RK FEF is a very nice engine with great sounds. You should like it allot whether the stripe is correct or not.

Please post some pictures once it arrives.

Actually, according to UtahRails.net they said that all the steam locomotives in passenger service were painted with the aluminum lettering and striping, from April 1946 to October 1946. Then after were all converted from silver/aluminum to Armour yellow from December 1946 to October 1952. It even states that the first FEF to be this color was UP 809. I also found a picture of a Two-toned grey FEF in silver striping thanks to UPBB4005. I have also posted that below.
