Here's another water wheel I'm working on for someone, he wanted it a little smaller and scale sized. He also wanted it very slow moving. I found this great little AC motor

from Micro Mark, still lots to do,but check it out.

How are you attaching the shaft from the motor to the water wheel?

I have 2 brand new Micro Mark motors 2.5 r.p.m and if anyone wants them just send me a email and a mailing address.

Hi Charles,

The motor comes with a hole drilled right though the shaft, then I drill the same size hole in the collar and just put a number 4 nut and bolt though and snug it up.

This has been a great thread. I found an MTH Granery yesterday, and am starting on the wheel. I love the cam operated pulley too, brilliant idea. I'm going to put this on my new micro layout.
