Upgrading to PS3

Hello Everybody. I own a MTH 20-30-30-1 DMIR Yellowstone and I want to install PS3 into it. It currently has PS1. I was going through the instructions and I have one question. Do I have to move the on/off switch for the smoke unit to the tender? It is currently on the loco side under the chassis. Probably a simple question, but doesn’t hurt to ask. Thank you.

Yes. The harness has it for the tender board. PS-2 smoke control is a processor signal, not an interruption of AC Power like PS-1. G
