The part number is 6017-200. It's a postwar Lionel caboose from the U.S. Navy set offered around 1960.
I can't speak to the actual value, but a specially decorated caboose offered only in a set tend to attract higher prices.

I guess I figured everyone on here being train nuts would have recognized the number 6017. But I guess I thought wrong I'll change it

thank you Rusty I appreciate it. You knew what I was talking about. It seems to be rare and bring a decent dollar.
I knew what you meant. Those Lionel Navy items all seem to fetch a premium it seems. Especially the complete set (led by the Alcos). One of those PW items I have on my perpetual watch list.
I see they go for between 1 and $200. I even saw some results have them up as far as $235. For the Caboose.
