Saw a craigslist post. Among other things the guy has what appears to be about 200 feet of Gargraves flex track with wood ties. Probably 150 feet of it is in sections 2 ft long or longer. And about 50 ft has been cut into 1 foot sections or were maybe the 12.4" sections they made.

Any idea what this might be worth used? I don't mind paying a fair price, neither do I want to pay too much.

On ebay it appears the full length sections average about $4.50 a piece with buy it now, or about $1.50 a foot. But buy it now can sometimes be over valued.

Depends on what condition it’s in.  If the ties are still black it would be worth more than track that has faded (gray) ties.  Old track is harder to bend.  New 37” flex track is around $8.50.  I saw some recently at a train meet that had been removed from a layout.  It had gray ties as well as scenery still stuck to it.  The vendor wanted $25 for ten 37” pieces.  I was going to grab it on my way out, but it was gone when I was leaving.

You can rejuvenate GG Flex track with wooden ties if you stand it up against your basement wall and soak it really well on both sides with WD-40.  Let it soak for 24 hours or overnight.  Always realign the ties as you go along bending it.  Use a cotton cloth (old tee shirts are good) to wipe the track dry.  You need to do this even with new track right out of the box.  It usually arrives dirty from the factory and needs to be cleaned anyway.
