USRa boxcar series

Here's a nice shot of the underside of the Norfolk and Western box car.  I generally use 2 to 3 paint colors on the underside.   Browns, rust and a finish of weathered black.

The underbody looks nice Brad!

Is that paint flat?  You can make the decal gloss go away by using gloss paint, then decal, then another coat of gloss before spraying flat.  Opinion.

I went over with the red solution and the decals are much better.

That is looking much better. Nice car. I'm wondering if you were to use S or H0 decal data if it would eliminate the need to letter on the brace.

I'll have to add PAC limited to my list of imported USRA cars.

Then the lettering will be too small...    I would perhaps have my guy re size them. However, at this time I don't need another set.
