I have an area about four inches wide between the wall and tracks that I have been wanting to fill.  I have seen some layouts on the forum that utilize this area with just the front of buildings.  I thought that that would be the way to go.  So at the last York meet, I purchased the Pickle Factory from Korber Models.  My intent was to use the front and back wall of this kit to make two separate buildings along that narrow area.

Below are some pictures detailing this process.

I picked up this product from Korber Models to do the mortar joints.  Easy to work with.

Junk, dumpsters, silver roof vents, and dark vent pipes are from Finished Models.  Silver wall vents are from Scenic Express.

Thanks everyone for the comments!

Mike - Practice and patience is all you need.

Guy - I had to move a few things to get to the back.  The platform has lights underneath the roof and I had to drill a hole into the platform for running wires.

wsdimenna - I have been considering backdrops for awhile. I should have put them in before I started scenicing the layout.
