Okay to start off again this Sunday I hope, I did get the house I showed last week stripped this week. Took 2 coatings of Easy Off but it came off relatively easily. Removed the roof for ease of restoration and repaired some areas that needed it. I then primed in with a spray bomb of Rustoleum Auto Primer. I decided to make a foundation and cut some foam board to fit the building. I will cover the foam board with plastic sheeting strips of a rock pattern that you see lying there waiting for the cutting board. I found a piece of scrap that I will be making into a cellar entrance which you see in one picture sitting there to get a perspective, it will be made smaller.  The house will be white, with green window and doors. I plan on leaving the screens on the porch the primer color, trimmed in white I think it will look good. I will add a porch swing and have started adapting a park bench for the purpose.

Let's see what y'all been doing besides getting ready for the Super Bowl and hunting groundhogs! I'm tired of winter!

That's great.  It doesn't look a lot different from the house we lived in in Toppenish, Washington in 1949-1950.  Needs a row of five big cherry threes down the left side as you're facing the house and I'd move back in tomorrow.

Thanks for the memories.

I have been working on a train shed for forum member POPSRR. He sent me 5 wooden train sheds. I put them together and added sides and roofs and added a 32-inch long end section with a flat roof. The building is comprised of 4 sections. I am getting ready to install the lights.

Here are some pictures.

1-1-1 AA TRAIN SHED ENCLOSUER SHEET 2A OF 3 APRIL. 2913

Hi Alan, Thank you for posting these pictures. I had mot seen it all together. It looks GREAT!!! It will have 6 tracks inside and can house 8 sets of my ATSF ABBA ENGINES.

The shead shop will give me a place to store these ABBA units when not in service without having to take them off the layout. i hope also that the shead will help to keep the units clean and ready to roll out for service. Alan many thanks for all your effortd on this project. Bill

Great progress on the shed Paul. I guess you would have mentioned if you had found any clue as to it's origins while taking it apart?
