Did some sight seeing after York and one of our stops was Valley Forge. Nice looking station being used as a bit of a museum.

Sorry I missed you Steve - Glad to see you enjoyed your East Coast trip! Can you imagine the logistics of a Jamboree's worth of Boy Scout supplies?! As a life long scouter I know the way most of these kids pack, I can't imagine they were that much better organized in the 50's!

I bike there all the time. This is a great place to railfan, engineers will often give a few toots on the horn for the visitors.

I have a good ghost story about that rail line going through Valley Forge when I was there on a foggy 2AM call-out.
