I have all of the old Classic Toy Train magazines, beginning with the first issue. Any real value here? Just the premiere issue? Or even it? It is more in line with our 0 gauge hobby than MR, mentioned in another post.

The premiere issue use to go for about $100 on eBay, I haven't priced it lately. The first years issues were around $25-35 then the subsequent year prices dropped a lot to the point of selling them for 20 bucks for an entire year
Go check out the completed eBay auctions and see
We have 4 or five of the very early issues if anyone would like them. Make a reasonable offer.
I bought three of the premiere issues at different times back in the early 1990s - $50, $100, and at a show I picked up about 75 copies at 25 cents apiece including the premiere!
As mentioned by others the premiere issue with Dick Kughn on the cover used to go for $100. Doubt you could get half that amount for it today. All the others in my opinion have little value. Once things are published in a digital format all value seems to drop as people find they want the information but do not want to store all the clutter.
Is a digital archive of Classic Toy Trains available?
No, but you sure can get digital copies of OGR. Issues from Run 1 to Run 239 are available as a series of 10 OGR digital Archives at $29.95 each. That covers magazines from June 1969 to December 2009. These have been done by John Holtman of HSL and they are available at the OGR digital store.
Newer issues can be had by purchasing a digital subscription to OGR as a Premium Membership. You can download any issue from 239 to the present issue as part of your Premium Membership.
By the way , every page of every issue is available , either as a Digital Archive or as part pf a Premium Membership.
Good to know,I think.
