Good news, the Polar Bears missed posing for pictures.
Good to know. That's actually been on the bucket list for a while. I guess they finally stopped the finger pointing on who was going to foot the bill for the track repair.
I believe Omnitrax, who owned the line but refused to repair it for financial reasons, finally agreed to terms to sell it in late August. The new owner began repairs right away.
Thanks for the heads up Clem.... Here's a little more, All in all it seems the line started repair in Sept and is now back open.
I've ridden this twice. Not only was it my greatest train ride, it was one of the best experiences in my life. I won't have to try very hard to talk my wife into doing this again, maybe even this summer!
