Several of you had commented on my first video that you would like to see more...some asking to see video from the "ELEVATED".  So...yesterday I took two videos...one leaving east and the other leaving west.  I will post the east version first.  This is a view from the cab of the Electroliner leaving the "South Station" platforms and going east and then northward toward the OGR Headquarters Building.  At that point we go west to the Grand Station turning sharply due south and crossing over the double deck bridge.  After crossing the bridge we turn east again and end up once again at the South Station platforms.   I filmed the trip going 3 laps around so that you would have an opportunity to see the other trains running and other details.   Hope you enjoy and as always I appreciate you taking time to look and comment.  By the way, if you click on the Youtube logo located in the bottom right corner of the video, you can view the video in 1080p HD in full screen view since this takes you directly to my Youtube channel...

Alan, saw it last night right after you posted it. It was a great ride. From the view point it really made your buildings pop out and the HD allowed the showing the details of your buildings. Also from the vantage point it gave a great view of your layout. Looking forward to the next ride!!!

One thing to note: For all of us who grew up in Chicago and remember the rebuilding of the CTA North south line between Howard and Wilson in the 70s. Alan raised platforms at the EL station reminded me of all the temporary platforms they had built. ( Granville (north bound side) and the big one at Loyola). Thinking about it. I find it interesting how Alan's layout sparks memories of my youth. You would think Alan grew up in Chicago.

Alan,

Suggest adding the YouTube link with your video. I cannot expand the embedded view to full screen.  But if I have the link, it will expand full screen.

When you start the video, click on the YouTube logo in the lower right, it will take you directly to the video on YouTube where you can watch it full screen.  In affect, the logo on the video is the link...  Try it and let me know what happens.

Thanks,

Alan

Yep worked great.  Learned something new, as I did not realize that there was a way to do this and not obvious looking at the embedded Youtube picture.  Sort of like knowing what all the "unpublished hidden secret" key combinations shortcuts for Microsoft products are.
