Thank you for posting, I believe this shows the spirit of tinplate fun at its best . some really great trains running nicely on a wonderful layout , But what is the most exciting is what appears the shear fellowship of a bunch of friends enjoying the company of others ans having a great time with there trains.

Some how beyond the big business and prophet I wonder if this is what Mr Marx had in mind. Gary 

Dave has a pretty good core group of guys and gals that get together most Friday nights at his basement for coffee, cookies etc and trains, also an occasional BBQ. They have a theme for the night. Once in a while they go to another home. It's 2000 mile round trip for me, so I only make about every other year. About due for a trip.

Almost all my Marx 6" is now 8 wheel. I like the look a bit better, but they track much better.

Somehow the 6" cars seem bigger when they're running on 8 wheels.

Kinda nice seeing some 898 action for a change too!
