Now that is really sweet.  If you ever get a chance to visit the Carnegie Science Center here in Pittsburgh you can see more of the same.  They have had boats for ages.

I can't seem to remember if it is real water or not...someone will chime in here,for sure.

Not easily, but its not suspended.  There is just a table 30" by six foot long under there that I adjusted (shims under the legs) to exactly the right height, and the track is laid on top of it (and screwed down in a few places).

Well, a 'Streets DB5 would be cool.  I checked just now and it is just wide enough that a conversion might work.  Some sports and GT cars are too narrow to fit on the rails.  This is just barely 

 

. . . it would have to be the old vintage truck chassis.  I'll check if it looks feasible.  It would be a nice car . . . 

 

Anyway, James Bond is on the layout another place, all the time.  Here he is pulled by the side of the road up in the mountains.  He's certain there is a secret rocket base somewhere around there.  Anyway, I modeled him in his classic cinema poster pose.

    Bond, armed alongside his DB5 on your layout, is very cool!

 

Let us know if you do a DB5 conversion and which DB5 model you used.
