Took a little impromptu trip to the Michigan Transit Museum on Sunday.  They run train rides every Sunday from the 1st Sunday in June until the last Sunday in October. They also own and restored the old Mt Clemens Train Depot.

The train is a short ride, only about 1 mile, but a fun ride.  They used to go onto Selfridge ANG base and take you to the air museum there, but after 9/11 that was stopped for national security reasons.

It is $7 for adults and $4 for children.  It is worth the ride even though it no longer goes on the base.

Yes she did.  Up until 1995.  They also own an Alco S-1 switcher but it was not used this year.
