Love your Plasticville layout Doug. Do you have any updates on the rest of your layout?
Nice! Love those Erie Alcos.

Jerry, not really-just some track with no scenery or structures. There are some locomotives on yard tracks and a Pacemaker Freight Service loading platform. You can take a rudimentary layout tour here-
In the most recent video: what are you using under the track?
Ahh, it’s the 1950’s again! I feel better already. The joy of simplicity overcomes the complicated era we are in.
I have the same postwar/plasticville moments in my cold derelict basement!
that was awesome, thanks for the first time machine video.
also, those dime store vehicles look perfect in your plasticville scene.
postermastermc,
You have a great looking clean cut layout. Your video was a pleasure to watch. Like other posters I too really like your Post-war 2032 Erie Alcos. Great looking and smooth running engines.

Light grey paint.
Thanks for all the comments.

LOVE your Plasticville buildings! Many of us seventy-somethings had, and well remember, snapping those pieces together to make our "instant villages"! They were inexpensive and readily available in many stores in the fifties! Great fun and memories!
Love that layout- classic postwar look. I like both videos and the sound track for the second video.
I enjoyed the video very much. I recognized some of the plasticville buildings I have myself including the gas station and, I believe, the post office. I have more than I can fit in my layout including a hospital.

Very cool! I enjoy PV...have about 70 structures myself.
There was a certain charm in the relative simplicity of the Plasticville buildings and their colorful structures added much to our postwar layouts. I had Gilbert Flyer and they went very well scalewise with S gauge.
Thank you for sharing your layout with us. I too loved the plasticville with your Lionel trains. Also, great music,
I noticed the PCC being transported, nice touch.
