Since it was purchased in 2019 by an LLP of two guys, the Cumberland has received a lot more coverage in both film and video recently. Their chief track maintainer runs a very popular YouTube channel, and graciously agreed to show myself and a few younger guys around the mine on an overcast day last December. We chased the train from the mine to the unloading facility, then went on a fruitless chase for NS before coming back to watch the evening shift unload the train into barges. The Cumberland is not a common carrier, and does not interchange with the US railroad network; they are separated from NS by the Monongahela River and about 100 feet in elevation. If all of their equipment is working, they will run three trains a day from the mine to the barge transload and return.

I also included a new trailer for my channel, since I finally got around to editing many of the 20 videos I had left over from this spring, summer, and fall using a new video editor without a watermark.
