Very nice video. This has been on the forum before.
Deja Vu all over again!!!
I wonder if the soup was hot? The mother-in-law was.
This would be easier. Love this film. Amazing how much they put into "shorts" then. Don
"If I knew then what I knew now, I'd never have let him open the package!"
Watched it several times. Fun. Wife says at least I haven't gotten to that wild eyed part.....yet!
Be fun knowing what the layout track configuration was for his big layout.
Bet Lionel pulled out all the stops designing and supplying the equipment.
Wonder how they kept the "gravy" in the dump cars from leaking out? Wonder how many takes it took for the dining room scene so cars uncoupled right place?
Did anyone catch that at the end when Mr Agony pulls out the box of Lionel and Dokes picks up the diesel and says "Oh boy, Union Pacific!". Oops, was Santa Fe warbonnet! Why let small detail spoil the fun.
Wonder if his name is Scott Smith?
Notice in the train store they cut off the L in Lionel.
I was wondering the same thing about the gravy cars. Maybe wax paper of something like it. They could uncouple with uncoupling tracks at each chair. I would love to see the "out takes". Wonder how many takes it took to get it right? Don
