Actually, unless Rich performed some surgery on this thread (I didn't ask him), I think the forum members themselves policed their posts.  That would definitely be a "first" for this forum, and if that's the case, the participants themselves deserve collective pats on their backs.

Besides, PC9850 was commenting on the DETAIL and ACCURACY vesus the real full-size, 12 inches to the foot sacale NYC J1e Hudson. And in that regard, the K-Line version is more detailed than the Lionel vesion. Heck--how could Lionel have modeled the tender without the iconic water scoop??? And just how many rivets did Lionel model on the tender deck (where the water hatch is)? K-Line even modeled the Automatic Train Control mechanism box on the tender deck, the step in the tender bumper beam, poling pockets and the electrical conduit to the backup light. Lionel?
