Hey guys, thanks for past help with finding lionel parts (mu hoses).  After installing legacy system, I have been trying out older locos that have not been run for several years.  My command wabash 4-6-4 hudson #700 will not respond to any commands...just remains still with steam sounds going.  When I tried to program with engine number 700, after hitting set button, whistle did not sound...and returning button to run...loco does not respond to anything...just makes steam railsounds...reset does nothing...think everything was fine when last run years ago with original trainmaster system.  Any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks for the replies...it is 6-18046...and I did try to reprogram as #70...two digits...I think on the old trainmaster system it was just as eng #1...when I hit the set button and the whistle did not blow I suspected something might be off...the random steam railsounds are on and so is headlight...just does not respond to anything whistle or bell or movement...maybe try again tomorrow after being off...

Ok, I tried the reset code, but after hitting aux 1 before hitting the code number, my screen goes from numbers to steam icons...so I probably did not do that just right.  I decided to see if it would run in conventional mode.  It did and smoked but had no railsounds.  I decided to go back to command mode...it took off full speed the moment the track power came on with railsounds back on...I grabbed it off the track!  I then set the switch to program/lock?...it still took off the moment track power comes on!  I thought these engines will not run in program setting?  Oh well, back to the shelf it goes...I have some new legacy engines coming...sd70m-2 CN, gp9 CN, and c30 SRR.  If any off them have to go back to lionel, I will debate whether to send it too!
