I finished painting 3 of the NYC Pacemaker cabooses in the inaugural scheme. I almost finished a Wabash cab today too.

Looking GOOD Malcolm! I guess the inaugural scheme I had proposed was a hit with other customers? Can't wait to see the decals, will you be doing all of them with the more spaced out numbers?
Malcolm
I am considering doing a O Scale Road Name Guide on prototypical NYC Pacemaker freight cars car later this year. Might I include a photo of one of your scratch built cabooses in my post?
How about an album of all of them? I would pay for a hard- copy booklet:201 cabooses.
Nick,
Yes, they will!
Ted,
Yes and thank you.
Bob,
There are some on my Facebook page.

Nick,
That inaugural scheme is bright and attractive.
The scheme, Malcolm created for me, with the NYC F-1 black car cement on the roof tops, etc., is a Jan. 1950 scheme and is exactly the way I wanted my cab. and all without Malcolm having been told, though Malcolm mentioned the scheme he was going to use, to me.
Kind of like he read my mind.
That's why Malcolm has Magical Powers.
All enjoy your beauties, as I do mine and thanks, again to Malcolm.

Ted,
I'll be glad to help, as I have some NYC books and some info., feel free to ask me, if you need anything.
I found a post, from a different forum and one of the members mentions that the 25 Pullman Standard PS-1 box cars made up for the NYC's Pacemaker fleet, delivered in Feb. 1954, were painted in a different revised Pacemaker scheme.
SO, me thinks, that Lionel's Item #6-17275, PS-1 NYC Pacemaker box cars, all with the same, but prototypical, road #175008, has the correct, lighter hue of the 'Vermilion' & 'Grey' color scheme, similar to the prototype cars of NYC's Pacemaker cars, delivered in Feb. 1954, from PS' shops, which have lighter colors, than Atlas' and the older prototype Pacemaker cars of the '40's.
Ralph
Malcolm,
It, is AMAZING, at how fast you turn out these beauties!

Malcom, Is your Wabash caboose for sale? If so I'de like to buy it and give it a home with the MKT caboose. Thanks, Dick
