Mine is noisy as all get out! I've tried oil, then making sure all the gears were synced up and any small imperfections removed. That didn't work so I tried grease last night. That doesn't help either.
Has anyone come up with a way to quiet these motors? Thank you, Terry

Run your trains!
These units are noisy by nature. I tried all of the same things you did. I found that when the trains are running that there is enough noise generated by the wheels on the rails that you don't even notice the motor noise. So, Run your trains!
