Be sure to stop by the White Hall at York this week and visit the W&OD S-Gaugers Club layout that will be set up and running there. The club was founded in 2000, has grown in membership over the years, and has an S-gauge layout that I think you will enjoy. Talk to club members while you're there. They're a great bunch of S enthusiasts.
PS The W&OD Club and Baltimore Area American Flyer Club (BAAFC) are hosting the NASG Convention in Timonium, MD this August. Be sure to register and attend. There will be some great local area railroad related tours, layouts to see in operation at the convention and on tour, as well as via open house sessions en route to and/or from the convention (including my Reston & Elsewhere Railroad). Of course, there will be plenty of dealers and vendors in the dealer hall along with a host of informative sessions/presentations scheduled. Tom Barker will be presenting twice.
