I opened this car up to re-glue some loose passengers. Now I realized how curved the end of the floor is. Any suggestions?

If you have a electric heat shrink gun you should be able to gently heat the plastic floor and straighten it flat by hand bending. Maybe a portable hair dryer may work its worth a try if you don not have access to the heat shrink gun, I would not bend it cold you may snap off the bent section.

I am going to try drilling in a new screw from underneath. Wish me luck.
Great solution Mark!!

Looks great!. BTW, how did you detach the Skytop windows?

The whole assembly was quite loose to begin with. I did a lot of jiggling and careful prying with a putty knife.
The K-Line passenger cars are just wonderful! Can't get enough of them!
This is one of the finest. Though not a MR fan, I can appreciate the beautiful observation car at the end of your train. It's even better in reality, got to see one first hand at an auction. A stunning car.
