I lost my train buying records for years and found them recently. I was active in TTOS and TCA and there was a local club called the Valley Club. I just can't remember what or where the Valley Club was or what it was.

I now its a long shot if anyone might know about it but I thought I would ask. Thanks.

That was the Valley Toy Train Club, home of the Los Angeles Tinplate Trackers Chapter. Members included Al Bailey and Howard Packer who co-created the Tinplate Tracker Standard. We used to meet at St. Innocents' Church off White Oak and the 101 Freeway. It was a monthly meet and the Trackers set up a modular layout and ran trains all evening. Al Bailey passed away in 1993. Howard Packer, Fred D'Aguilar, Don Lewis and I got together with John Pignatelli and his group to form Angels Gate Hi-Railers in 1995. Howard and I are the last two charter members active with the club. John moved to the East Coast, though we made sure he got an AGHR Polo Shirt and Hat. By the way, I'm the custodian of the original Tinplate Tracker module standards, though that has evolved into other configurations in various regions of the country.
