Today, July 11, 2013, on the news, in a subway somewhere a guy rolled his wheelchair right off the platform and onto the tracks. He was rescued. I hate to say it but that was funny. I mean come on. To get that close to the end of the platform in a wheeled vehicle.
BTW, I vote for the guys in the last pic. Running the extension cord across the pool. Now that's genius!!
Thirty years ago a friend who worked for New York City Transit as a construction flagman witnessed one of the track workers peeing on the 3rd rail and we all know what happened to him.
You can pee on the third rail as long as you don't pee on the running rail at the same time. First time on the track I saw a track gang all sitting on the third rail eating their lunch
