Water Tower with Shed

I ordered one. It should be arriving at my LHS soon. You got any pictures?

I am finding that I can not recall if I have ordered something when it pops up years after its cataloged.  I know I wanted it, I don't remember if I ordered one or not...I'm gunna roll the dice and order it, maybe one shows up from the past. 

I would also like to see pictures of anyone has them!

I found this photo on the Lionel site.  Judging by its number (6-49876) it's O gauge.  However, sometimes O items can be used for S.  MSRP: $89.99

 

Mine will be here Monday...along with the long-awaited walking zombie brakeman car!

You're right, Mark.  That's what I get for not having my second cup of coffee!

Nice looking structure, but a bit too "rustic" for my tastes.

I just put in my order from Charles Ro.  I agree with Rusty to a point, it looks like it's intended to model the first water tower in the history of water towers, but it is well detailed and I want to encourage Lionel to continue with "scale" structures. 

I would think something a little more...contemporary (?) would do better.  Lionel has many nice structures in O gauge that I think would have a broader appeal than the water tower from 1852.  

Over all I would agree with Rocco...well done Lionel.

I have heard that it is really too big for S and more like O.  Wht do you guys that have one think?

Maybe it was for an On30 line Lionel was considering we never heard of that would compete with Bachmann. When they dropped that, "Well it's close to S."

As for its size, it varies to the larger side but looks fine with the rest of my S scale buildings.
