WBB fuel tank for a E7 | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have a pair of WBB E7's and would like to know if a more scale sized fuel tank is available? How much of a problem would it be to change out the fuel tank or could I just cover the WBB tank with a larger more scale tank.

Anybody ever do this?

I have not done it to my E-7 yet but did put larger tanks on my two Dash-9 units. The tanks had 4 small screws holding them on. Easy to take off....had to fabricate new supports for the new tanks...but that was easy too. E-7 may be the same assembly style.

David...if you take the current tank off and then add a spacer (won't take too much), you may be able to achieve "the look"....

Thanks Alan, that just may work. If not ill try something similar to what you did Dave, came out great on your diesel.
