I have noticed requests for various WBB engines that are not on their website or were not in their boxes at purchase. I have that problem with my J-4. I need to get at the gear box to check for lube. It looks like you need to unplug the wires for power, headlight, and e-unit, as well as remove the circuit board to get to the motor mounts so that the motor can removed. With the exploded view and the parts list, I think I can figure out how to get to the worm gear. I hate to go in there but the general guidelines from WBB call for gearbox maintenance every 25 hrs or so. Thus, I would like clear instructions before proceeding. I got the info I needed for my WBB Berkshire and discovered it was dry and so I will proceed with the J-4.
