SAT July 25th we are going behind the rebuilt Soo line Pacific from Duluth Mn along Lake Superior to Two Harbours MN, two hours there and then Back to Duluth. Will tour the Duluth Museum after the train ride. Beautiful scenery along the lake shore. A must ride if in northern MN.

Just returned from trip and it was great. The engine pulls the train with no diesel in it. The front car is a baggage car with all 4 doors open to the public to look out and photo. Next is an old heavyweight passenger car with windows you can open, then a c&nw airconditioned commuter car from the 50's. After that is a boxcar with diesel generator for power for the cars and a c&nw caboose on back for signaling backup moves.
Go to google and type in duluth railroad museum and get the info.
That would be a nice trip. Wish we could make it some time but Duluth is quite a distance from Cleveland so I don't foresee such an expidition. Would like to see some photos of the engine at work.
