Opening scenes of a 20th Century Fox movie, From the Terrace, were filmed on December 2, 1959, in Jersey City Terminal with Reading T-1 2124, fresh from the first three Iron Horse Rambles. A caption identified the location as PHILADELPHIA, 1946. A passing shot of a destination board shows fictional places from John O'Hara's novel, such as Gibbsville.
No. 2124 was too big for Reading Terminal.
In the movie White Christmas, there are two "pan" shots of Santa Fe Warbonnet F-units and SP Black Widows heading streamliners that are taking Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen from California to Vermont.
