I bought a couple of Lackawanna 4-8-4 Pocono's from Weaver I was pretty disappointed with the performance of the TMCC on these engines I really like them now that they have PS2

Why did you take the TMCC out of it?
They went back for service for TMCC problems Had no speed control Jack rabbit starts and wouldn't make it around the layout once when they came back. Its too nice an engine to be a shelf queen so I put something in that works better

I sent my Pocono back for the same issue. Apparently these engines were produced with the last of the K-Line derived speed control boards. When I got my engine back, Gary had put in the Lionel speed control board. The engine works much better now, and is very reliable. I'm satisfied enough to keep it TMCC. But it is nice to know that you can put DCS in it if you want.
