Guys, I have a Weaver TMCC model where the motors only run in conventional mode. In TMCC mode, it programs (with model #1) ok, and it beeps, bells, and couples just fine. It just won't move forward or back. Any ideas on what I can try? I have reprogrammed it several times. All my other TMCC equipment is working great with my recently updated Legacy system.
I think there was a "Factory Reset" option, but I have no clue how to do it and how to do it with the Legacy Remote.

Jim, I don't know whether your problem is different than what I had. But I had what sounds like a similar situation where a Weaver diesel with TMCC wouldn't run at all. Turned out it wouldn't run with the Legacy Remote but it WOULD work with the Cab-1 remote. No idea why. If you have access to a Cab-1 I'd give it a try.
Yes, works like a charm with Cab-1. Go figure that one. Every other TMCC loco I own works with Cab-2 except the Weaver.
I suspect that particular engine ID number on your CAB2 is set to control type=LEG. It should be TMCC or CAB1. Maybe there is some odd incompatibility I am unaware of, but I would expect this to work.

I really scratched my head when I first got Legacy, I didn't realize that setting an engine ID, it defaults to Legacy mode. Your TMCC locomotive won't move addressing it in Legacy mode.

I don't know. I thought when we went through this -- another club member and I -- we scrolled through the Legacy remote and selected TMCC mode but I could be wrong. May try it again someday, see what happens.
