I enjoy nice webcams for viewing trains. But I will admit, I want to see trains.  So I have found that if you open a window in the background of your computer and turn the volume up a little, just wait for the horn or crossing bells to know when a train is coming.  There are two that I have found that operate in this fashion but here is the link to the one I have up now.   Do you have any others?

The other one is from the Railstream Free

Thanks for the tip, FJ. I have sound now.

A favorite webcam site of mine is the British network Railcam:  http://railcam.uk/site/ . I've been a Supporter for a few years now. Basic membership is free and gives you several cams to watch. By donating 10 GBP (about $17), you become a Supporter for one year. Supporter status grants you access to all the cams (about 20) and also the live signaling diagrams which enable you to track trains as they approach the various cams. At $17 for the entire year, it's quite a value. The traffic density at some of the locations is positively intense. I've attached a few screen shots below to give you an idea as to what the site offers.
