1) CAKE TABLE:

Ordered a circle of 42 curves from USATrack, to put on the cake table. A 48" plywood circle for the track will be covered, and the track will be screwed down to it. Will have a MTH/Lionel repro SG engine and at least two of the Lionel repro Blue & Silver passenger cars, one being the Observation. A vintage Barclay Bride and Goom will be there. A prewar Lionel 48W litho (working!) whistle station and a prewar Ives litho 113 Station too. AND there will be a small two layer round cake (8", 6") with fresh flowers embellishing it.

What fun. A lovely surprise for our guests and for US too.

2) GUEST TABLES:

There will be a little cutie O-scale Lionel prewar tinplate or prewar litho freight car wired down/sitting on a 10" straight of Lionel fastrack, with a flower arrangement surrounding it.  Next to it, there will be a 5x7 card with a blk/wht picture featuring a screen shot from one of our favorite train old movies on the front. The inside will have a bit of info about the film, and a personal note from us welcoming them to our celebration.

There won't be a video.

There will be some photos, but certainly not the hundreds as typically done by a professional wedding photographer when young folks get married.

I am not interested in having a camera person constantly being underfoot or in our faces thereby disrupting our celebration, or worse yet- people taking selfies, in order to catch every 'moment', or take countless pics of the guests.

Tasteful and non intrusive photos is what I'm looking for. Tom is in agreement with my feelings on this.

I will make sure that I get a pic taken of the cake table, and guests' tables showing the trains.
