Happy Friday everybody! Great videos Jeffrey. I thought I would make a more classic video of my Lionel postwar F3s running.
Lots of action tonight. Running two freights on track 1, using one Cab-1. The UP passenger train on track 2 is now under TMCC control, thanks to Boxcar Bill. The Williams B&O GP7 handles a freight on the lower level with ease. Trolleys are busy as always. These Bowser units just run and run and run. All 4 trains are under command control, as a Powermaster is on the lower level 0-27 line.
between Detroit and Winsor. the crane is being powered by an 0-6-0
switcher behind the crane. I was surprised on how quiet and smooth it is...
Great videos guys! pennsy484, the layout is taking shape I see. You really capture the "steam era" feel in that scene. Nice work!

The caboose surprised me, too. Usually it doesn't smoke that well. It is a Right-Of-Way Industries car. The Williams GP7 has its motors wired in series, so I'd get a slower operation and brighter headlight. I guess the caboose just benefited as well.
I saw this commercial today;
Scott Smith
Ok cool Bill. I wish my caboose smoke that well LOL
Funny video Scott.

Pen Central Turbo arrives in SCL territory in Raleigh NC.
Penn Cental Turbo looking hot!! How is the Penn Central Turbo paint scheme different than the New Haven Turbo?
Lionel 4-12-2 with 36 reefers (mostly atlas O). I'm not sure why the sound cuts out
Mohawk... bookin' it. Head end cars are weaver and MTH, pullmans are all GGD.
Same train, but slower. The B&O cars are also GGD.
Penn Cental Turbo looking hot!! How is the Penn Central Turbo paint scheme different than the New Haven Turbo?
The Penn Central paint scheme is identical to the New Haven Turbo. The Penn Central took over the New Haven in 1969 and kept the turbo paint scheme until Amtrak took over. If I remember correctly, The New Haven never ran the Turbo in service before Penn Central acquired them.
Great videos everyone!
Jeff, real nice scene!!! Looks really realistic!
Patrick, always love the rides!
Steve, Sweet engine!
Boilermaker, nice NYC passenger train!

Here's a recent acquisition -- Amtrak Turbo Train. The extra cars arrived today.
