Here's something different...an instrument case used to house relays that operate railroad signals. This one is located at the eastern end of Spruce Creek Tunnel on my layout. The model was made of resin by Custom Signals years ago and I finally built and finished installing it on the layout. Sadly, Custom Signals and this model are long gone. The model features a prototypically correct light on the exterior.
That's it for this week...Enjoy!
Progress on the factory/mill I am making based on a factory in Hamilton Township NJ. Everything is cut with an XToolD1 laser cutter. The brickwork from Monster Model Works walls, the windows from thin plywood sheets.
It is nowhere near finished, and I have a ways to go!

Photos and videos show my Lionel Legacy model (2231120) of New York Central 2-8-0 Consolidation #960 on a circuit of my 10’-by-5’ layout. The layout was completed in 2019 and was pictured on the cover of O Gauge Railroading Magazine Run 304.
(1) The circuit begins with #960 on the trestle at the front of the layout. The view is looking northeast.
(2) Pequonnock Creek runs through the center of the layout. The trestle, truss bridge, Chromium Process Company (left) and Bridgeport Tool & Die (right) are scratch-built.
(3) Looking north along the track, #960 is passing Phillips Station (built from a craftsman kit), Mel’s Diner and the downtown on Railroad Avenue.
(4) #960 heads around the south end of town by the Long Hill Fire Department, Back Street, Corner Deli and Saulena’s Tavern.
(5) #960 is turning north behind the Idaho Hotel and heading for the truss bridge and south portal of the tunnel.
(6) Crossing the truss bridge.
(7) The train exits the east portal of the tunnel by Control Tower 71.
(8) Video – circuit of layout.

"The Joy of Rail Fanning ... waiting for a train to appear."
Got the Williams WM NW2 down off the shelf for a few laps around the mainline:
While the WM never rostered an NW2, it looks sharp nonetheless. Dual motored, TruBlast II, bell, and terrific paint/graphics...fun loco.
