Saw this little piece of HO scratch-built folk-art at my LHS last night:
A heavy gauge sheet metal, spot welded coaling tower. It's an impressive structure with it's choice of construction material, proportions and overall mass. According to the LHS owner, the builder was a tinsmith by trade.
For sale cheap: Only 25 bucks. It's gone now, another customer bought it shortly after I took the picture.

1970s Rivarossi. Added a second motor, lights and hoping to figure out how to make all those lights (6 "head lights", 4 "tail lights") directional...
