Home this week, I took some photos of some of my favorite locomotives.

Paint crews also began work on the railings of the Hale Gate Bridge.

The Alco PA has always been a favorite of mine dating back to my boyhood and American Flyer. Here are Lionel's early PA models from the late 1990s

M&St.L GP9 2348 leads 1958 entry level Super O set 2501W-

675 leads 1947 set 2120WS out of the tunnel-

520 leads 1956 entry level set 1542 on the upper level-

Erie Alcos lead 1952 set 1467W as 1947 set 2120WS pass on the inside track -

Thanks for your comments. My goal is indeed accurate reproduction of the prototype Middle Division and the trains that have ever operated on that line.

Great photos as usual and, dare I say, expected?  Knowing you are a civil engineer at heart, and that you always get those aspects spot on, I have to ask about that telephone wire "rack" in your PRR Heritage unit photo:

Was that really just held up by the wires as the photo makes it appear?  If so, how did they stabilize it to wind gusts, uneven temperature expansion of the wires, and tension on the insulators?

My layout is in a redevelopment phase. The layout was orginally an 8x8 with a toy train theme.  I have removed many of the structures and have expanded the layout.  The new layout will be more scale like in appearance.  One of the major features is an engine house, that you can see in the picture below. It orginally was on Frank53's layout and it made a 2500 mile trip from Sarasota to Tacoma.  I am really honored to have it, but I have a lot of work to do to get the layout to be more scale like; Frank has given me several tips on how to do weathering etc. and the O Gauge Forum has been a tremendous source for tips as well. The bottom picture shows the layout after the expansion but before I started removing structures.   Thanks everyone!

And I've working slowly, but steadily on the layout - mostly wiring and working with the AIU.  Ordered straight track and am planning the yard/engine facility.  I'm thinking about putting the Atlas O Ice Platform in the yard to break things up.
