I got word to expect a package from Lionel on January 16. This meant that I could keep my Christmas tree and layout up for a few more days to get these photos, and try out my new trains. They came on the expected date, and later that night, I placed them on the tracks. My Transcontinental Railroad 150th anniversary locomotives arrived after my placing the order on May 10, 2019. Both are spectacular in looks. Pictures don't do them justice.
I can't say that one is better than the other. They are both so unique to me. I like the coal load in the UP 119 as much as the wood load in the CP 60, the "Jupiter."
One of these days, I will need to display these two along with the Lionel Lincoln Funeral Train locomotive, the "Nashville."
