We have a nice trestle almost completed by club member Jon who has been primarily an HO modeler. It should be installed this weekend for our monthly open house tomorrow
Here is a pair of Geeps we call "The Daily Double" sitting atop a trestle near town. They make the run back and forth from a paper mill to a branch facility several time daily

RogerC, that is a MTH model of C&O's M-1 coal fired steam turbine electric. Three were built and run for a short.
Here is a pic of three different coal fired steam turbines.
Bobby, that is one nice photo. Sam, that new trestle is just beautifully done. You have to keep this member into strictly O-Gauge.

I have one of the C&O Turbines too.....my first scale loco in O. And yes it looks a little silly on O-72 but it's such a great loco I had to have one. Mine will run on O-90 so it looks a little better.
I had to have it as the real train ran near my house....when I am in the area I envision this monster running here so many years ago. Great photo PRR!

WOW! That thing is a beast! I googled some images, absolutely massive.

J Daddy who makes this gas station? It looks just like the Little Tavern burger place I used to frequent.
As posted over on the narrow gauge section of the forum an Australian Coffee pot at sunset.
Andy, great photo's. What does Patrick have for a control panel for the layout? I've seen other photo's of the layout but not the control area. Thanks for posting.

Passenger Train Collector, I appreciate your comment. Thanks.
A fellow Lehigh Valley HiRailer had always wanted a camp train to go with his work train. So when some camp train van kits appeared on the internet, he jumped at the chance and bought them. They turned out to be quite the challenge to assemble. However, he persevered and the results were well worth the effort. Now that he had the trailers, he needed the cars to haul them around, as they were not included. So he fabricated 9 purpose built flatcars from scratch. Check the whole train out below. Oh, yes: No 2 vans are alike!

Chris, these CR camp cars are terrific! Thanks for sharing the pics.

He really didn't have a "control panel" per se. He had a single ZW-L, Legacy base, DCS and the controller(s) for the switches. He had a separate control for his turntable.
I never took a picture of this area because there really wasn't much to see beyond the ZW-L.

Jumped out of the truck, just in time to catch Lionel's weathered B&O RF-16's #855 & #857 exiting the South Mountain tunnel with a string of hoppers. Photo courtesy of Mid Atlantic Railway System Bo

Love the photo of the SPs.

That is an outstanding photo. Very nice composition.
Doug N,
Very good looking layout.

Spring has finally arrived at the club. A few hundred new trees are growing on the mountain. I think it will need close to 1000 to cover both sides.

Thought I'd take my 3751 to Rail Days in San Bernardino yesterday.
Nice pics. Where were these taken at?
Top of the post says San Bernardino yesterday .... If you're not familiar with that, it's Southern California (about 60 miles east of LA), in front of the Depot.

Forgot that was this weekend. An O Scale 3751 sitting on 3751 certainly puts the size in perspective. Nice photos, Doug.

Perspective for sure.... and I always thought the 3751 was so big, but spending so much time near the 4014 recently...... Well, the 3751 looks tiny now.
Doug N,
Very good looking layout.

Thanks Joe B. It will be a bummer when I start to take it down.

Hello Andy, The B&O Pacific, is it a scale engine? Who made it? I love to get one, I have seen it by Lionel but it was not scale , more traditional.
Thanks
John
Doug,
Your layout does look great! Sorry to hear you're taking it down, but thank you for sharing the pictures!
Chris,
Those camp train vans are incredible! I didn't even know those kits existed, and the assembly work appears top notch!
